Hudson who is only in his early thirties at the moment took the charge of the All Whites three months back when Rickie Herbert resigned.
He was not an expected choice for the post, but, probably because of his good work with the Bahrain side, he was given the job.
Anthony Hudson’s first match in charge of the New Zealand national football team ended in a 3-1 defeat after playing against Uzbekistan. Hudson was selected as the new head coach of the New Zealand national squad on August and so far he has only been in charge of 1 match for his new team.
Earlier on July, the governing body of FIFA suspended the Nigerian Football Federation from participating in any way or manner in continental, regional or international tournaments but this sanction was revoked 1 week later.
